Problems with Google Calendar web side

Good morning
I have a problem with SyncML and google calendar
The synchronization between the server and the mobile phone is good
but the events are not displayed in the web side of the Google calendar
Since the last update, all the events are sent in the mobile phone as
"undecided", and these are the events that have the problem (all the events
I create on the web are correctly displayed on the phone)
Is there a way to solve the problem?
Thank you very much
Simone

Re: Problems with Google Calendar web side

We've seen that too high security settings of the browser will not display all elements of Google calendar. Try with another browser, e.g. Firefox or Safari

Best Regards

Re: Problems with Google Calendar web side

I have tried with several browsers (Safari, Chrome, IE, Mozilla) and different
security settings, but it didn't work, I can't still see the events
Is there a way to set all the synced events as accepted?
Best regards

Re: Problems with Google Calendar web side

A problem seems to be that server UIDs will hamper the Google Calendar sync. First we thought this has been fixed in Android 2.2, but this is not the case.

There is a new release 2.1.1 of the Synthesis app for Android since today (23.8.2011), which will not force UIDs into the gmail accounts any more (with some restrictions for recurring events with exceptions). There is a switch in the calendar settings however which still allows to force UIDs to the calendar. For non-gmail accounts the default setting is on anyway.

Best Regards
Beat

Thank you very much for your answer; as I am not a skilled user, could you please explain what does the UID do and what is the best setting?
Best regards

Re: Problems with Google Calendar web side

UIDs are common identifiers for recurrence events with exceptions (to recognize them as one group of events)

Just use the default settings (off for gmail accounts = Google Calendar, on for all other calendars).

More detailed description can be found in the current documentation on page 15.

Best Regards
Beat

Re: Problems with Google Calendar web side

Hello
it seems there are some new problems related to this post: I noticed
that in the last days on Google calendar website now some events
have duplicate or even triplicate entries, while in my outlook are fine and
even in my smartphone
Could it be a problem with the UID again?
Thank you very much
Simone
