Missing line feeds in contact notes
 

I'm syncing both my Thunderbird address book and my iPhone with a Funambol server using SyncML Pro. Unfortunately, when synced to the iPhone the contact's "notes" fields are missing all line feeds. If I modify such a contact on my phone and sync again, line feeds are missing in Thunderbird, too. Any suggestions or hints on how to solve this problem?
