'Account My calendar has been removed'; after jelly bean 4.1.2 update
 
After updating to jelly bean 4.2.1. Synthesis warns that account My calendar has been removed and that the next sync will remove all its entries also on the server.

Anyone any idea what happened and what I might do to restore things?

Yes, some Android updates will unfortunately remove or rename accounts.
This warning avoids that you're losing also all your entries on the server.

I recommend to check (at the contacts settings of the Synthesis app) if your account is still there, eventually with a different name.

If not, recreate the account on your Android system, then switch it on for sync at the Synthesis app. Then change the mode to "reload device" and sync:
All your entries will be copied back from your sync server then.
