Timed sync stops working

I use Syncml Pro on an HTC Desire Z, syncing contacts and calendar with memotoo. Over the past few weeks, the timed sync will work for an hour or so, and then stop. I have it set to sync every 30 minutes. The last log entry is the last sync that worked. Settings are as follows:
Timed sync: On
Show last sync time: On
Time Interval: 30 minutes
Wifi mode: Only if active

My last succesful sync was 7.00, and my wifi has been available all evening. Any suggestions as to what may be happening much appreciated thanks.

Are you using V2.6.6 of the Synthesis app ?

This new version has a workaround for an Android bug at the so called WiFi lock which causes an exception after 49 attempts:

Due to forum entries, this bug is fixed now in Android, but is unfortunately still present in many devices.

Yes, it's 2.6.6 I'm on. Will the new version be updated automatically, or will I have to download it from Google Play?

Both variants notify automatically about updates:

- The GooglePlay version with its own updater mechanism from Google
- The non-GooglePlay version checks the Synthesis server once a
week for updates (and keeps you informed when a new release is there)

So this is covered for both ways.

I have the same problem here, no automatic sync with Syncml Pro;
settings are:
Timed sync: On
Show last sync time: On
Time Interval: 2 hours
Wifi mode: or via 3G
Detailed timed sync: on (M/T/W/T/F/S 7:30-22:30)
On settings, last timed sync is 24/04 7:30, but the last time sychronized
events shows 23/04 09:55
Is there something wrong in my profile?
