Local calendar deleted

This is using a Motorola Droid X (current Verizon firmware), Oracle Calendar 10g and the 1.9.2 STD client:

Since the upgrade from an earlier version (30-day demo, which worked consistently), the local calendar is removed seemingly at random. The only other configured calendar is from Google, and it appears to work correctly. There is not a desire to sync from OCal to the Google calendar; only from OCal to the local calendar on the phone.

I've cleared the app data for the calendar apps, for the SyncML app and restarted the phone. The local calendar created from the app will not "stick". Otherwise, it appears to be working properly — there are no problems contacting the OCal server. I've reinstalled the app, twice, too.
