Default new contacts in eGroupware are not synced

I am able to sync a contact that was created on my Galaxy 3. But when I change data for this contact or create a new one on the Server side (eGroupware 1.6) it is not synced to my phone.
Interestingly when I delete a contact (on the server) that was created on my phone, it gets deleted on the phone as well.

Any ideas?

eGW has some problems with non-fitting organizer fields.
A patch for an earlier version of the eGW server which fixes the problem.

On the client side, organizer and attendees can be suppressed for being sent to the server. As far as we know this solves the problem as well.
