![]() Hi there,
When I sync my oracle calendar events to the calendar on my iPhone (2G running iOS4), it adds all of the events seemingly correctly. And for several re-sync's things go fine. Eventually however some "all day" events which transferred to the iPhone just fine, now show up as a 12:00am -11:59pm event on the server, in addition to the original all-day event. Curiously enough, after subsequent sync's the additional 12-11:59 events never seem to show up on my phone. This has the unfortunate effect of making me look like I am busy ALL DAY to people who look me up on the Oracle server. Any Idea what is causing this, and or how to recitify the situation? Thanks Much. -David |

![]() I am having the following problem syncing via SyncML Pro and all day events:
- I have a clean calendar on device - initial sync syncs all my server calendar data to the device (this includes meetings and day events) -- all show up correctly within device But - when I create a day event on the device and sync, the day event turns into an all day meeting (12am-11:59pm) on the server. It stays as a day event on the device. Ara |

![]() I've noticed this happen before in a specific situation. If for any reason (like a crashed session) the app needs to do a new Slow Sync, the following will happen:
- All-day appts will either duplicate (Todo+Cal) or duplicate as a 24hr-long event (SyncML PRO) - Appts last modified on the Oracle Calendar server by a designate will duplicate - Appts deleted on the Oracle Calendar server but still present on the iPhone will be synced back to the server. Take care not to interrupt the sync session either by hitting the Cancel button or syncing in an area with weak Wifi or cell data signal. If it does happen and you don't have any new or changed events on the iPhone that need to go back to the server, your best bet is to change the mode to Reload Device for a one-time fix. This will wipe the calendar on the device and refresh it one-way from the server. |

![]() I've noticed this on numerous installs of SyncML Pro on iPhone. When the phone does a slow sync, either because it is the first sync, or because the previous sync failed for any reason, the day events often come across as very long meetings, rather than as day events. Once normal sync kicks in again the problem goes away.
Todo+Cal doesn't have this problem. Does anyone know if Synthesis staff read this forum; is there a better place to register this bug and hope for a response? |

![]() I'm having the exact same problem... Did you ever find a resolution for Notes in oracle calendar, showing up as all day events after being sync'ed by syncml?
