I've set up my server correctly, setup the contacts correctly, but can't find where to put in my events location. seems like there should be a spot for that after the server settings.

what am I missing?

Usually you need a gmail account installed on your device (and a reboot afterwards). Only this installs the Android account system correctly on some Android devices.
