There's nothing we can do. However, I think horde should be able to disable that "workaround for broken clients" for clients that are known working correctly regarding UIDs, like Todo+Cal+Sync.

All SyncML servers have to deal with "broken clients" and apply some workarounds here and there, but that is usually done on a per device basis. So I fully understand that they need that workaround for some devices, but if it's in place for all devices it makes the subtask feature in horde pretty useless for anyone who considers mobile sync.
