![]() I am testing the application between my Gphone (Samsung Galaxy with Android 1.6) and eGroupWare on my PC. I do not know what is wrong:
- the app seems to look for a connection - the link to eGroupWare is located at http://localhost/egroupware/rpc.php It would be fine to test with a remote server as I tried with http://localhost:8080/egroupware/rpc.php which also fails. (also with my IP and 127.0.0.1 together with port 8011 or 8443 or nothing... what else ?) Does anyone have an experience with eGroupWare and the SyncML Android app ? ![]() At least anyone to help with the Synthesis app ?
- I read "Sending" - then nothing happens - when I want to abort after 5 minutes, it keeps saying "Waiting" - and the only way is to kill the application |

![]() I am willing to test with this extension, but beforehand I'd like to understand. When I read "sending", does it mean that the address is correct 100% ?

![]() Link to the patch is unreachable. So I am testing again and I am a step further. Now I can read "sync failed : Bad URL, etc"
I found this thread on eGroupWare : http://www.egroupware.org/forum#nabble-td277073 and I understand no patch is necessary, but it may be a matter of ./calendar or calendar. I tried both with no result at this stage. |

![]() I still assume your URL is not correct, it might be access some html page on this server, but not the SyncML server.
"Sending" means that a post request has been sent to the given URL

![]() I have checked and checked again : http://myIP/egroupware/rpc.php is the correct address, unless I need to add a port, like http://myIP:8080/egroupware/rpc.php
When I type this address in Firefox, it says "You should access this URL only with a SyncML enabled device." which means it is fine for me to go with SyncML. I have tested all combinations settings in Synthesis on my Android device : - SyncML version - ignore SSL errors - SyncML encoding What else ? |

![]() I must say there is nothing wrong apparently with your application. I have tested with ScheduleWorld and I could sync in seconds.
Now I'd like to achieve the same with eGroupWare. Hopefully the patch will do it. |
