![]() When syncing my HTC Touch Cruise (WM6) with SyncML Pro 3.0.0.0 with Oracle Calendar I've noticed that various appointments are starting either one hour earlier in my Oracle calendar or one hour later at my HTC phone.
The weird thing is that when I synchronized manually with SyncML it tells me that the last succesfull synchronization time is one hour later then the current time of the phone. Where does the SyncML programm get it's time from? Can you please help me with this! Thanks in advance. |

![]() I just installed the Windows Mobile 2008 DST patch (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobi...tdownload.mspx) but that does not solve the problem.

![]() Please make sure you also have the current version of the SyncML client (3.0.2.15 at this time). Version 3.0.0.0 dates before the daylight savings rules were changed in North America last year, so that's probably why you see that 1h offset.

![]() Hi Lukas,
Thanks for your reply. Upgrading to version 3.0.2.15 didn't made any difference. Both the synchronisation time and appointments are still on a one hour difference on my phone. I've noticed that after upgrading I have both versions (3.0.0.0 and 3.0.2.15) running on my phone. I checked that my latest synchronization was with the latest release. Do I need to uninstall the 3.0.0.0 release? Thanks again for your time! Martijn |

![]() We have EXACTLY the same issue with that exact phone!!! - Syncing to GroupWise.
After a hard reset all works ok, but i think i have found out the cause but i havent found the cure!. It happens when a user creates a full not guest partnership with his pc, be it at work or home but probably home. If you have any other clues i would love to hear them, but we have quite a few different phones Treo650, iPhone, Nokia E65, and Orange M500's and they all work as excpected. Cheers Julian |

![]() SyncML Wrong time windows 6.1
My issue is the same as raised in this thread whereby the sync softwares time is ahead by 1 hour of my Phone and the Oracle server with which it is syncing. http://forum.synthesis.ch/showthread...ght=wrong+time Resultant effect is duplicate calendars & task times and/or wrongly timed events. It is a real big problem with using the application I am using SyncML Client v 302.2.22 - touch screen, have the trial version but I am looking to purchase. My devices is a HTC Touch HD with Windows 6.1. The Timezone is GMT London, Dublin. I have even tried Deleting "sysytarg.bfi" and "sysyprof.bfi" from the \Windows directory on my device - to recreate new settings. Only way i have managed to get this working is by manually amending the time on the phone (up and down a minute) so I can save setting before each attempt to sync Can you please assist in anyway or should this be a new thread? |

![]() Hi
Yes I sorted it at our site. We used the latest HTC firmware, then hit the client with Active Sync/Mobile Centre updates as it turns out the client was taking the phone elsewhere and doing an outlook sync with dated software/patch levels. Also there are some microsoft timezone fixes, but as yours is the HD model, im guessing they will already be there - but there are some PC patches too. So, whoever is affected by this have a looksee as to where they are taking it and what they are syncing with and you will find your culprit. Good luck Julian. |
