![]() With iphone 3.0 available for developers (like Synthesis), when will SyncML client for iphone support:
1. notifications/alarms/alerts 2. intergrate into iphone iCal instead of running separate ToDo/Cal app (as an option) Appreciate any input including timeframes, beta test program, etc. thx |

![]() Quote:
Both is, very unfortunately, STILL not possible, iPhone OS 3.0 does not change anything in that respect vs. 2.2.1. Apple still does not provide a mechanism for timed reminder, nor an API for integration with the iPhone calendar.

![]() Lukas,
Can Syncml support push notifications with new iphone os3.0 using a similar approach like notifyme? see http://www.powerybase.com/notifyme.aspx as an example. Would it require the syncml servers to talk to apple push servers, or is there some other mechanism which could be simply client based? Curious.... |

![]() I am not sure whether this is something you can do as developers, but a feature of OS 3.0 that would be very useful in the Synthesis app is search.
If the new search feature could be made to search the "Todo+Cal+Sync" app's data that would be a great feature to add. This feels like something only Apple can do, unless the API has some form of registration of 'callbacks'. |
