custom data in Palm memos/notes

I am thinking of trying to use an initscript and afterreadscript to put and get some name value pairs for some other data(not contacts/tasks/calendar) like our current orders in the notes.

pseudocode:


select all current orders from orders table

break each order into name=value pairs stored in one long string

map each long string to reference NOTE field




Anybody done anything like that with the notes? Just curious
