Is STD 2.x a free or paid upgrade from 1.8?
Hi all,
I have a user with SyncML STD for Android, version 1.8.something. Is his upgrade to 2.x free, or a paid upgrade? (I'm not sure if he got it directly from Synthesis, or via Google Marketplace/Play.) Thank you!

The update to the current version 2.3.2 is for free.
The Google Play was introduced with 1.9, so it must be a directly purchased license. Update is only possible for the direct path, so a change to the Google Play version isn't possible technically. But the functionality of both versions is identical.
