Synthesis SyncML Server Fatal Error in IIS

Hi

I have downloaded demo standard version of sythesis.

when i run it from iis then it gives from iis

is there any setting i have do ? and i have given all permssion to iis users .but still ther error comes.

- Logfile open Windows Error Code : 0

It seems that you have a syncconfig.txt file with invalid contents.

This file should contain the full path to your syncserv_odbc.xml (or syncserv_odbc_std.xml) file.

What is in your "syncconfig.txt"?

my syncconfig.txt file includes the same content as syncserv_odbc_std.xml( i have copied all content from .xml file to .txt file)

pls give me example how can i add path into .txt file.

No, the syncconfig.txt should only list the path. Your syncconfig.txt should be something like:

C:\myFolder\syncserv_odbc_std.xml

This is where the server can find your config file. The actual path depends on where you store it, of course.

You should NOT have the syncserv_odbc_std.xml file in a web-accessible directory for security reasons, because it may contain database passwords!
