SyncML with Oracle Calendar

Hello,

we are facing some problems of duplicate entries, the problem happens when after a synchronization error, the pda client uses the slow mode for synchronization. That is the use of the slow mode that creates the duplicates.
As it seems the Oracle team have no solution for this problem, is there a way where if a "normal" synchronization fails the next synchronization goes with "reload device" instead of "slow" ?

We need to keep the client able to make updates to the server so we can't set the sync method to "update device"
