Default field size description of memos and tasks

Hello,

when i sync my memos and tasks, the content of longer memos or longer descriptions of tasks will get truncated.
Is there a limitation of size for the text fields (field description in the mysql-database of the SyncML-Server) of memos and tasks? If so, how can it be suppressed?
My system:
- SyncMl-Server Standard 3.0.3.6 on linux
- Client syncevolution on ubuntu
- evolution as pim on ubuntu

regards

Default Re: field size description of memos and tasks

In the SysSync-config-reference manual I found a config XML tag for a remote rule in the server config file (syncserv_odbc.xml) which might be usefull. Here is my remote rule:

<remoterule name="SyncEvolution">
<manufacturer>Patrick Ohly</manufacturer>
<model>SyncEvolution</model>
<limitedfieldlengths>no</limitedfieldlengths>
<ignoredevinfmaxsize>yes</ignoredevinfmaxsize>
<descriptivename>Patrick Ohly SyncEvolution</descriptivename>
</remoterule>

But still no effect. The memos and tasks still get truncated. Any ideas?
