Palm and Location field for Events (v3.0.0.0)

Hello,

I am having trouble getting the location field of events to properly sync with our oracle calendar.

If I create a new event on the palm then the location field is correcty synced to oracle.

If I create a new event on oracle, the location is mangled into the event name "@(value)".

Editing this record on the palm and re-syncing works however.

Is this a general problem or specific to oracle?

Oracle OCS does not have a server side "profile" for the new 3.0 clients yet, and still assumes that the LOCATION field is not supported (which was the case in 2.5.x). I think there is a way to install a "profile" in OCS for 3.0 clients manually, but I have no details - please ask your Oracle support.

As soon as the 3.0 is officially certified and recommended by Oracle, they will provide the matching profile by default.
